With interchangeable sanding bands available in coarse (120 grit), medium (180 grit), and fine (240 grit), this mandrel offers the flexibility to tackle everything from bulk reduction to detailed finishing. Its compact 3.0mm head makes it ideal for precise, controlled work in hard-to-reach areas.

Installation & Use

A. Band Installation

  1. Slide sanding band onto mandrel head

  2. Align grooves with ribbed surface

  3. Twist clockwise to lock securely in place

 

B. Recommended Speed Settings

Task RPM Range Technique
Cuticle work 5,000–8,000 RPM Feather-light pressure
Edge refinement 10,000–15,000 RPM 45° angled strokes
Spot corrections 8,000–12,000 RPM Tap-and-lift motion

 

C. Pro Tips
✔ Always use a fresh sanding band for each client
✔ Replace band if it becomes clogged, stretched, or shows visible wear
✔ Keep pressure light — let the grit do the work


Safety & Care

Critical Warnings

  • Never operate without a sanding band installed

  • Avoid prolonged contact (max 3 seconds per area)

  • Keep dry — do not submerge in water

Cleaning & Maintenance

  • Remove and dispose of used sanding band immediately

  • Wipe mandrel with an alcohol wipe after use

  • Allow to air-dry before storage

Lifespan:
Mandrel: 12+ months with proper care
Bands: Single-use per client

Troubleshooting

  • Band keeps slipping? Ensure grooves are aligned and twist tight to secure

  • Bit vibrates during use? Check for worn bands, bent mandrel, or loose drill chuck
